IHSAN (Compassion) began in 1996 as a bi-annual newsletter of the Darul Ihsan Orphanage, targeted at the Malay community.

In July 2008, IHSAN was revamped into a bilingual organ of the Muslimin Trust Fund Association, and has now become an important link between MTFA and the public, especially our generous donors, both Muslim and non-Muslims.
